Parry Gripp "For Those About To Shop"
If you know the band Nerfherder, this is the main guy...funny, funny stuff...30 second songs...kids love it. (ok, there's a few you don't want to play for a kid).

a little Incubus here, and little Coldplay their, and a dash of Pearl Jam. Add garlic, black pepper, and let it stew for two hours.

An outstanding disc. I haven't listened to Peter Murphy or Bauhaus in a while, so it'll be up next, thanks. I had a long traffic jam-delayed ride home. Good thing I had some discs in the car: Sacred Reich: Surf Nicaragua Pantera: Vulgar Display of Power Social Distortion: Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell

SD! Big favorite. Saw the White Light tour on my 30th birthday...some years ago...ha. Great show. Mike Ness annointed me...reached out during 'Hour of Darkness', and slammed his fist against mine... Peter is the man. What a voice. "Cascade" is also excellent, and "Dust" is a one of a kind listening experience. An outstanding disc. I haven't listened to Peter Murphy or Bauhaus in a while, so it'll be up next, thanks. I had a long traffic jam-delayed ride home. Hey Dann. I have never seen Social D in person, but always loved their music. Last night we cranked up the big system and listened to "Cascade." I loved his version of "Don't Sleep in the Subway" but hadn't heard it in at least 10 years. Thanks for the inspiration. After the disc ended, we felt like we needed a little change of pace and slipped into the new B-52's, "Funplex" and danced until we pooped out. Good times. "Funplex" may be one of the best overlooked albums of 2008, by the way.

I sh** you not I listened to that for almost an entire school year straight. Ground breaking.
