I will be getting the XLR cables and new speaker cables in a few days. I will update the thread with my thoughts when I have some time to burn the cables in. The amps have about 200 hours on them and the bass is improved in my opinion. The highs also are a bit more gentle. Midrange is still incredibly detailed. These amps just beg to be pushed

Can your significant other provide some audio sensitivity training for mine?

Posted pics. Got my new cables and everything in. They have about 100 hours of use on them now so I am right at the period where I can begin to form some thoughts on the sound. In general, the XLR IC's and the shorter speaker cables seemed to extend the soundstage a bit. Not that they increase the frequency range, but more like they seemed to give the setup a more concert stage feeling. Granted I have mainly been listening to big orchestral works for the burn in period. I will play around with some Dylan, Jack Johnson, Miles Davis, Coltrane and Johnny Cash and then give my impressions.

Congrats from a fellow Logan owner. I hope to upgrade my Ascent i's to Spires someday soon and get some XPA-1s to push them. System looks great. Hope it sounds even better.
