Are these multi-channel or stereo? Great musical taste anyways.

The following recommendations are all DVD-Audio as I remember. But no matter, your Oppo will play them perfectly just as my Oppo BDP-93 does.
As someone else mentioned, *anything* by Porcupine Tree is a MUST-HAVE. Steven Wilson, the leader of the group does and outstanding job of mixing and mastering. Try "Lightbulb Sun", "Stupid Dream" that one's VERY good, "Arriving Somewhere But Not Here", and "In Absentia". In fact, ANY of the PT albums should be purchased, this is one of the best bands in the world, IMHO. I saw them live at the State Theater in Fairfax, Va a few years ago and they had the best sound I have ever heard at a concert - their road guy REALLY knows his stuff. It was an *incredible* show.
Secondly, I haven't seen anyone mention Pat Metheny's "Imaginary Day", the studio version, not the live version. This is possibly the best sounding recording I have ever heard, and I've heard quite a few.
Finally, any of the King Crimson albums would be good to get if you like KC. And Steven Wilson (mentioned aboive) was hand-picked by Robert Fripp to do the mixing and mastering.

I am hooking up my Oppo93 tonight. HDMI for BluRay six RCA for analog as CD player 5.1 Don't forget there's music on Blu-ray also. Pink Floyd "DSOTM" to give but one example. And then there's the Neil Young Discography on Blu-ray. Okay, that's two!

I am new to buying SACD. I am awaiting the arrival of an Oppo 93 from the UPS man this afternoon. I have purchased a few: Pink Floyd -DSOM (of course) Eagles -Hell Freezes Over Linda Ronstadt & Nelso Riddle Orchestra- What's New? What are some other titles that will showcase the 5.1 recording? Not necessarily limited to SACD, just anyting that will make the most of the multi channel format I just ordered Norah Jones- Come Away with me I realize there are probably thousands of titles, all dependent on music tastes. Just give me your favorite titles or any that you feel really excel. Thanks, Bradley If you like Elton John, you have to get Honky Chateau on SACD. Honkycat is a revelation in multichannel!
