Finally posting after following and learning on this forum for a couple of years! I purchased a UPA-2 and some Ultra cables in finishing up my Home Entertainment set-up. Then I moved into collecting and restoring vintage (1970s) stuff. I will post some pictures, soon. I live in Fredericksburg, Va. and work at North Anna Power Station= yes we were the one shut down by the August 23 Magnitude 5.8 Earthquake! Finally starting back up, so maybe I can get some time off! Still learning how to work the forum/ posting pix, etc. I've learned a lot from you guys on this forum, and expect to learn lots more!

Welcome Jay! Thanks for the welcome, LOTR. I'm on board that Onkyo train, too! This is the Emotiva train here! P.S. Watch out for those Onkyo/Integra detractors! ;D {They just love to tell us that we run very hot!}

welcome....I too live in virginia. I live in a little town called Gretna. About 60 miles esat of Roanoke or 40 miles south of Lynchburg. I am 49 years old and have also collected vintage equipment .....or just kept and rebuilt some. I have two old technics receivers ...not at home right now ...but I think the sa-202 and the sa-500. I have a luxman tape decdk from the late 80's and a dual cs-5000 turntable, and a technics dd turntable. I also have a pair of epi-100 speakers, a pair of Genesis 66 speakers and advent legacy speakers. and a pair of AR-38 speakers. I have a pair of infinity overture III speakers along with all of the surrounds that matched that set. I too like emotiva....sold my Adcom GFA-555 for two of the UPA-1's. Right now just running these with my Genesis 66 speakers and adcome preamp/tuner combo with their cd player. Any how....thanks for your greeting .......glad to talk to someone pretty close by....would love to here from you, Andy
