This might sound a little stupid to some people lol, but I have found that when I'm setting up a system, I try to take a long break after I've been at it for a long time. Especially if you're getting frustrated with it. In my experience, if it's taking a while to dial in a system and I start to get frustrated with it, being in that frame of mind doesn't help at all. After I take a long break, everything starts to come together a little easier. I'm a firm believer that your mood, level of energy and even smells can have a great affect on how your system sounds.
Geez, now I sound like Bob! lol

^ I agree on taking a breather from it. Certainly don't impose deadlines on when you want to be done by. When I have test tones filling my HT and the mic out, I ask my wife to not make any noise. She always asks, "How long will it take?". My response is "Until the noise stops. But when it starts again, please keep quiet!" A little fore-planning helps reduce frustration. I always put all the phones on mute and that has saved some time in the past. I always smell good though so haven't had an issue with that.. Remember to apply yourself with all your resolve and existence. ... And all that Jazz!
