I was lucky enough to grab an XPA-2 before they went out of stock and what can I say that hasn't already been said about this beast of an amp. Aside from it's raw power, it sounds completely flat across the frequency range, along with excellent dynamics. The speakers they're powering are the Wharfedale Diamond 9.6 towers.
The Amp it replaced was the highly regarded NAD S200 from their silverline line series, which retailed for $1799 10 years ago. As far as comparing the two, they are both wonderful amps. The NAD is warmer, as it fittingly features the NAD house sound. The XPA-2, on the other hand, handles lower frequencies with much more authority and the highs are very clear and without fatigue. Overall it has a nice flat frequency response and provides even more magic at higher volumes.
Of course I will never sell the NAD as it is really something special, but have moved it to surround duty for the time being. I'm seriously impressed with the XPA-2.

I was wondering the same thing. The only concern I have with the XPA-2 is high-frequency brightness, especially with the RF-7IIs I have.

Sorry about the typo boys, definitely WITHOUT fatigue. I changed the original post. The highs are very smooth and wonderful even at extremely high levels.
