The time has finally arrived. After years of dreaming of owning a nice 2 channel setup I have finally completed my quest. My system consists of Polk Rti 10's, an xda-1 (via Emotiva balanced XLR's), two upa-1's, a Sony Cdp-D500 (via coaxial output)and Sony VAIO laptop (USB out). Although my current config is limited to redbook specs, it sounds amazing. Open, clear, CLEAN. I will be posting pictures and updates as I upgrade the USB output to high resolution output. Pictures coming soon!

Nice pics and a nice setup, roman. Thanks - I'm tempted to get isolation feet/cones to put under the xda but I like the clean look of it all stacked.

If jitter was caused by vibration, perhaps.

If jitter was caused by vibration, perhaps. My reasoning was to provide more airflow for the top upa.

Thanks, I just had the xpa up to 50 and I think that's the sweet / ideal level for this setup.

50??? I don't dare go under -5 with my set up but then again, that's a measurement at the AVR and the louder it goes, the smaller the number...

Sorry I meant xda - not xpa. 50 on my xda sounds simply awesome. I'm still freaking out!

My reasoning was to provide more airflow for the top upa. You shouldn't need to worry at all about your Emo amps getting too hot unless maybe your listening room is the sauna

Very nice. Very clean. I love the 88 key HD non-display unit! Black is cool. That lamp shade and lamp, however, is a bit unsettling! Enjoy and congrats!
