Marantz 8805 with 3 XPR 1's, XPR 5, RPA 2 and SA-250 with full Tekton Brilliance surround speakers with a PSA audio Triax subwoofer! Now that is a man cave. I don't think its pretty, but I could hang there for hours. I showed it to my wife and she cringed. Reminds me of that secret room in the attic that you can only access from the secret door in the basement that has 3 stories of 2 feet wide stairs behind it that wind their way up in darkness, with several peep holes to spy on people in the house while going up or down. Something that is in the design of my custom home. π

Here is my audio rack. Waiting to finish remodeling the hallway before putting the trim around the rack.

Just updated my setup in my ManCave... Here's the "before" picture... View AttachmentThe end result is that, thanks to this and what I did for my headphone system - I freed up 2 Sonos units to sell (1 Sonos Connect and 1 Sonos Connect Amp). Watch the Emporium for an ad soon. Mark Hi Mark, I see you have a the Primaluna's Prologue Integrated Amp. How is it? How do you like it? Have you ever been able to compare it to a McIntosh or some of the other big names out there? I like their products and the prices are very competitive, but never had the chance to listen one or speak to anyone who has one. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks Tony

Thanks Tony I really like it quite a bit. The only direct comparison I have is my Hypex nCore monoblocks...which many compared to very high end amps when they came out. I prefer the PrimaLuna for most music. I still have both and can toggle back and forth. I use the tubes for most listening and the Hypex is I need more power (harder rock music). One very nice thing about the Prima Luna is the ability to use a variety of tubes and have the autobias system...no need to keep checking bias and adjusting. Mark

Replaced my older Kenwood Amp, now my little color coordinates a bit better. I like that stack! Stack is changed up a bit. Moved CD player inside on of the drawers. Those two pieces are too high. Attachments:

Finally back up and running! 7.2.4 Atmos & separate tube two channel. I'm starting to forget what it sounded like. Time for another visit then. Always welcome. The VTI racks are new since your last visited.

Love its SQ for its very reasonable price point. Iβm running it via McIntosh C220 and Bob Latino M125 tube amps.
