Yep. No complaints when she asks me to throw a load in the wash. :-) That is the one downside to my space though. No matter how much talking I did I couldn't get her to see the benefit of moving the washer and dryer out of my future media room and into the garage.

I think 2 of your uploaded pictures didn't work. Of mine? There should be 3, I'm seeing 3... EDIT: I just realized the middle picture was pre-Emotiva. Ooops. That's the Sony ES that's gone baby gone.

Okay, here's my room. There are still some things I'm working on finishing up, but it's pretty much complete. Very cozy looking room. I love anything with wood. Fabric walls may be more theater like, but nothing beats the look of wood IMO. Big gamer? I see you have both the 360 and PS3.

We pulled it out and added the drywall sections to break things up a bit, very happy with the results. It's very cozy. Surprisingly enough, I'm not a big gamer at all. Girlfriend had the PS3, which now gets used as the Blu-ray player, too. I use the Xbox/Kinect for working out. Either can be used for streaming Vudu, depending on what controller is nearby. Nobody spends much time actually gaming, though. The kid plays some Kinect games & Minecraft.

Attachment Deletedas with everyone, its "in process" next step is room treatments and a nice equipment rack. The TV stand needs to go.

It all depends on your room size and configuration. I am using 1.5 inch egg crate foam acoustics. I have it wrapped around the front part of my room starting from my speakers up to my ceiling except where my screen is located. Then I have MetroFusor sound diffusers on my ceiling located just in front of my speakers going along the ceiling for five or six feet. The diffusers I purchased from Auralex.com. I believe that Auralex offers for free if you send them your room configuration ideas for suggested room treatments. From that point you can go on from there as to what you absolutely need now and can add on in the future. I myself use this free service but did not conform absolutely to their suggestions. Remember it is your room and your wallet.
Hope this helps. If you need to see pictures of me setup...if you think that would help I can do that.
