I had a amp one 2008 model about 3-4 years ago. I think I paid $600 from A-gon. It was cool but didn't have enough power in my living room for my speakers at that time. If I was to use it in my bedroom or something like that, it would have been perfect.
It sounded good but nothing that stuck with me. I wasn't that sad to see it go when I sold it 2 months later.

Thats the same reason I bought mine. I never had one and wanted to try one out but didn't want to spend over 1K. It fit the bill. They show up on A-Gon quite often for $500 or less.

Is this for a dedicated two channel system? Do you want an integrated, or separates?

Yeah, Decware is certainly one of the best options out there.

Well, if you have high sensitivity speakers, a low power SET tube amp can be wonderful.

It depends on what you want though. If you want rock concert levels, than you may want to look for something with more power.
