How is the B&W subwoofer? I say I blame you. Word on the subs has kinda disappeared. When I ordered my ERC-1 I asked about the subs and was told that they didn't have any estimates on a release date.

I would guess that they are very busy with all the new stuff coming out especially the umc1. The processing on the 212's is probably going to be incredible... but didn't they say in the last webcast that everything was designed and in order? Can't see why it would be much longer if all the pieces are in place. Maybe someone should sneak into the factory and push the red start button on the assembly line..... ;D

I may be all wet, but I had a dream the other night about the new Emotiva Subs. In my dream, Big Dan released all the subs at Emofest and gave away one set of ERS-212s as a door prize. I have to tell you all that my dreams have been known to be very accurate for various past occasions. For instance, during my senior year of high school, I dreamed that our football team won the "HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME" by 35 to 12... two days later the game was played and we won it 35 to 12!

Hi everyone
I have a pair of Outlaw Audio Model 2200 monoblocks that I got @ a great price and really don't want to let go of. Now from a previous thread I believe the ERS-212 subs will be passive. Will the Model 2200s have enough power for the ERS-212s for HT use?
My HT room is small. Less than 1400 suqare feet.
Specs of the Model m2200.
Power Output: 200 watts @ 8 ohms, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, <0.05% THD; 300 watts @ 4 ohms, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, <0.05% THD Signal to Noise: 112 dB "A" weighted Input Impedance: >10K Ohms Gain: +27dB (1.7V sensitivity) for full output Input Connectors: RCA Jack, XLR Jack Output Connectors: Five-Way Binding Posts Power Consumption: 600 watts maximum/<3 watts standby Trigger Input: 6-35 V DC 4mA Weight: 18 pounds Dimensions (H/W/D):1.75" x 17" with feet x 11.5"
Also are there any specs on the size of the ERS-212s?
Thanks JD

If I remember right, the amps come with the passive Emo subs. Don't they?

The ERS-212 has a 1250 watt RMS amp driving them. no need for an exterior amp.

I was told by EMO staff early December. For the 212/112 or the "cheaper" line without the DSP/EQ system?
