Before you sell them, be sure to get some room treatments first. You might not need to sell anymore after room treatments. Unless your upgraditus has spread too far into the brain.

The Klipsch RC-64 I have is pretty close to the CC-690 . I have not spent allot of time with the CC-690 yet only watched some cable , but the big thing I noticed I hear sounds that I didn't hear with the Klipsch center its kind of weird . I watched a couple shows and I could hear the peoples shoes sticking to the floor when they walked things like that . I'm putting my RF-7ll's back today because I sold the CRM-2's and I will try to watch a movie soon.

"shows" sticking to the floor? Ah, you mean shoes. What's really cool about great speakers is when you hear the size of the room the actors are in by the reverbation of their voice and with music when you hear them inhale between words in a song for that "real" you are there feeling. The thing that can be bad about great speakers is that they'll show faults in your gear. The better your speakers, the better the gear you need to drive them.

Wow, if you raised your TV a little higher, you could get a third tower to use as your center. That would be sweet imo. Although, there probably isn't much compromise with that center in comparison to the towers.
They all look great, man. Hopefully these can stay in your system for a while.

I think a cool setup would be 3 cc-690's I need to find something like outriggers to support the 60's a little better unless I use the carpet spikes

So is that a good or a bad thing? How do they compare? They look nice! So far I'm really happy I just cant get over the size "small" I think the 100's would of looked better but I think for my size room these will do just fine . The dialog is very clear and easy on the ears compared to the Klipsch they seem to blend very nice . I'm going to try and watch a movie in a bit I really haven't had much time yet. I set the xovers for the center and 60's at 60Hz I will play around with it . Id like to find some sort of stand for the 60's seem like they will tip easy , unless I use carpet spikes

Why is that ? some people run the at 40-45

Probably because they will handle those frequencies better than the speakers and mean the speakers have less work to do.

I was thinking that they rolled off a bit starting at 60 from what I remember seeing in testing.

As an aside - when replying, can folks please try to remove the inline tag for the pictures - it makes scrolling through the thread much easier.
