Hemster edit: This thread is for the discussion of the movie only. There's another thread to discuss the tragic events in Aurora. ------------------------ Excellent end to the trilogy. Can't wait for the bluray release. I won't say much more without spoilers..... My only major criticism is that bane's voice sounded too muffled in the theater. It was an IMAX one so I was a little surprised if in fact if came through final mixing like that.

My daughter and I plan to see it tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it. It's hard to resist looking for spoilers on the Internet!

IMAX usually tends to come across far too bass heavy and really messed up some of the vocals in the film last night. Great movie, can't wait for the blu ray either!

Anyone knows if this movie is encoded in 7.1? I have always enjoyed this "genre". Hopefully, I get that panny in time for the blu ray release. I'm headed for the nearest Imax with my son and my son in law. The women of this family simply do not like the violence and loud explosions. Oh what a night! Hemster edit: removed non-movie references...

It was an IMAX one so I was a little surprised if in fact if came through final mixing like that. I just gotten back from seeing this and I really liked the effect of Bane's voice. I didn't find it muffled, and I was at an IMAX also. My only problem was while waiting in line, a few *bleep*'s tried to spoil the movie as they came out, with yelling the so-called ending. My only confusion in the movie, was the cop that turned into a Detective, at the end, what was the purpose of giving his real name, if this is suppose to be the last showing with C. Bale. Every re-boot has a different story, so I just don’t think it served any purpose for any future movies.

Well Hollywood always likes to announce that this or that movie will be the "last" in a series, but there's usually at least one more after that announcement. They're not fooling me anymore lol.

I agree. Last in the series always means that it depends on how much money the current version makes.

Must be my theater. lol As far as Blake's charater he did give his real name at the end. That is the nugget for possible future movies. In the comics he did have his own single run.

I felt like some of Bane's lines were hard to hear, like they put too much tile bathroom reverb effect on it to give the masked effect, I gotta agree with you on this one bootman. I'm going again this morning so we'll see if I can tell a difference from the other night.

I'm not sure anybody else could do Batman like he does.
