See them here first post www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=109675.0" Briefly, for the money, I have never heard another amp sound this good. Not only in my system but others, at dealers, shows and at peoples homes. I have heard these amps in other peoples systems and they just transform them for the better. To say am SUPER IMPRESSED is putting it mildly. A fellow Audio Club member who modify audio equipment for a living who is very critical and very hard to be impressed told a fellow club member that he was very impressed and that they sounded great after hearing them. These will be about $10,000/pair, and by far the coolest looking, the Atsah's www.acousticimagery.com/page5.htm expecting retail Ncores to take the high end amp world by storm.

Happy-happy-joy-joy!!! The amp modules are so tiny! Yeah, I knew that from the drawings, but holding one in my hand really makes it hit home!!!! The cases are now done other than drilling the module mounting holes. But, I have marked the positions for the amp & PS modules and double-checked wiring routes. Tomorrow night I hope to get both fully wired and running...worst case Friday night. Closer and closer!!! Mark

Just wait until you see the little line of LED's glowing behind the smoked glass. That's them just to the right of the amp outputs (the gold connectors to the left side) in the little "valley" between the outputs and the caps. Mark

Isn't that the most amazing part, is that they are so tiny? Some of the first reviews of this amp are hilarious, sitting on top of monstrous class A tube amps, these tiny little things. That's the future.
Apparently the board is very dense, however, with levels of circuits buried all the way through.

Yeah, I showed this to my wife, and she said (with a silly smile on her face), "so, THAT's what came from the Netherlands?". This was the first time she asked me what they cost. So, I told her what an amp module cost...she recalled enough to say, "and you bought 2?" I said "yes".
Note that she didn't ask about the other parts and I didn't volunteer that I also bought 2 power supplies or their cost or the cost of the various parts for the cases.
LOL! But, at least she doesn't seem to care what I am spending...she's happy that I am happy!

rclark...that's exactly why I held off doing more last night...I had a long day at work, got my new Maggies & got them set up, finished the back plates (while sitting listening to the new Maggies), went to a Boy Scout meeting, then started doing the final internal layout. By that point, I was mentally whipped...and I had enjoyed a couple bevvies toward the end!
Net, I decided it would be good to stop and refresh my brain before moving on to the wiring and mounting the modules. I am ready to go again tonight! It's the only thing on my schedule other than picking up my son from Tae Kwon Do and watching him in his weapons practice for a bit!
And rogersch...LOL!!! Good one!

The parts alone in those amps are several thousand dollars. You think they should sell them for free?
Plus the level they compete at is with amps costing dozens of thousands of dollars.

Mark, apologies if I missed it, but did you mention the all-in cost to build the amps, net of your time?

Officially confirmed, the Merril Veritas is intentionally designed to allow for a second NC1200 (+ PS) module to be inserted for bridging. The word is that bridging the NC400 takes the already world class audio performance and improves it further (oh, besides the huge boost in power). So expect a couple thousand watts of the finest sound quality possible anywhere. I'm guessing a bridged NC1200 Veritas, they'll probably cost between 11-13K.

You as a diy enthusiast knows that the parts are much less than thousands of $$$. Even at the normal 3x markup, there are 3K worth of parts there? But hey, it is your money. DIY is the route to take with these modules. Now I can't wait to hear the blind a/b comparisons. ...as apposed to reviews driven by groupthink. But hey, that happens everywhere on internet boards
