I'll keep it short and sweet...... I love them ;D It has been raining all day but managed to get both boxes in my ranger. Yes up front in the passenger seat. Not as heavy as i thought they would be. Took me an hour or so to get them in the rack and rocking. The LEDs move but at extreme volumes (110db+). If you guys want to know the definition of overkill, here it is. Overkill: Using 103db efficient speakers on 1000 watt mono blocks. Short video And showing off my new Rega RB-300 tonearm.

Atta boy! - big amps to drive big speakers! (Even if they are hugely efficient!). I know what you mean about raining all day here in the Twin Cities, but we need it, right? Good thing you didn't slip bringing those beasts in the door! Enjoy!

Congratulations on joining the Power Amplifier Overkill Club! Hope you enjoy them as much as I'm enjoying my new XPR-5. The only problem with having mono-blocks is if you don't have two consecutive serial #'s then they won't sound just right together! ;D Enjoy Matt!

What's really weird is one amp has a screw towards the front plate and the other doesn't I'll take a picture of it.

Wow Matt! 2000 watts with 103db speakers. Crank it up. Lets see how many decibels you can stand before you have to leave the neighborhood.

WOW!! Major drool factor, Matt. I am giddy like a 10-year-old boy in a toy store! Those look fantastic and the overkill factor is fully engaged! I definitely prefer them without the sideburns in your setup. Matches perfectly. I'm afraid to do the math here to calculate peak dB levels. Talk about blowing down the doors. I have no doubt I'd need earplugs if you maxed out those puppies with your PD30s.

Earlier i gave them a nice workout. My SPL meter was around 120db. Still crystal clear sound with no distortion The bass was extreme. With 2 15" woofer per speaker, it rattles the windows like crazy ;D

A little hiss but it's not noticeable sitting on the couch. It comes with high efficiency speakers but i won't be letting my speakers go for a long time. A true winner in my book. Real sound from 25hz to over 20khz.
