Here's a quickie phone photo. It's very overcast today, so very little natural light. I'll charge up the camera and try for better on a good day. View AttachmentWhere did you get those stands for your XPR's? I like them?

Those are the base shelves from a couple of VTI BL404 racks. I've mixed and matched from 3 or 4 sets to use as a/v racks in a couple of rooms.

Outstanding system, thorcorps. That's one to be proud of. I also enjoyed reading your thoughts on the DC-1. So far it looks like Emotiva hit another home run!

I've built a 6 shelf system so far (4 post version) that matches my Emotiva gear perfectly. I love the modular aspect--just add an amp shelf or 7", 9", or 13" shelf as needed. Emotiva actually uses the BL304 or BL304 systems when they display their gear at trade shows. (click to view larger version)

The Stealth DAC just went live on the Emotiva PRO website, but it's been available for purchase by phone for several weeks now.

For European customers: Total cost for Benelux delivery is about 950 euro ( +/- 1200 USD). This includes the DC-1, shipping, tax and custom duties. Too bad Emotiva isn't a European company. If it's only as good as my Eastern Electric MiniMax DAC Plus with the vacuum tube removed – and I have this little voice inside my head telling me this very well could be – then unless you already have one of *those* babies, the Stealth DC-1 still makes for a valid choice even if you are located in "tax country" (aka Belgium, which is where I am, and where tax equals 21 per cent – or half of the meaning of life, which is 42). The only caveat IMO is the cost that would be involved if you'd require to ship it back to Tennessee. (Right now, I'm listening to Johnny Cash ~ Tennessee Stud).

I have heard the DC-1, and I have to tell you, this is one amazing detailed DAC! So well balanced in presentation, and tonality that is spot on! Dynamics are great! The Remote is beautiful too! At $899.00 this is a bargain alert for all music lovers and creators out there! Spectacular! I love this DAC. Another winner from Emotiva Professional! Great Job Big Dan, Lonnie, and Nick H.!

We've got our direct European shipment almost ready to launch and we have contracted with a very reputable service center in the Netherlands for local service and tech support! Hang in there. I can't do anything about your local VAT, but you can purchase with confidence knowing you have local support and service. Cheers, Big Dan

So one of the Europeans say thank you Dan. Nice to read that there will be a "European" service center, one of the concern (probably the only one) I had before placing my order. If I were to need service (which I don't hopefully) shipping cost will decrease a lot. I could probably take the car to the Netherlands at a lower cost than shipping to US, and get a holiday trip as well. Could we expect the same prices? If the prices are the same a quick calculation shows that I approx. could have saved 800-1000$ on local taxes, if I import within Europe the tax rules are different. But on the ++ side I will have the benefit of enjoying my new gear within 2 weeks. Kindly Oscar

Will Emotiva make DAC only?

Funny, I want the reverse. Pop a dsp in and have bass management. A dac/preamp with digital bass management would be just want I want.
But I'm loving my DC-1 right now.
