NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now everybody will want emotiva and the prices will go up and the personal service will diminish and dan will get cranky and global warming will get worse and my wife will leave me and california will fall into the sea and the xmc-1 will come in at $3000 and the forum will cease to exist and, and, and amplifier housings will be made out of plastic and roadrunner will stop providing sage advice and chuckienut will desist from humorous postings and the emofest will now be a black tie affair with cavier, brie and fancy wines with an entry ticket price of $350 per person....................... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! congrats anyways emotiva............... tchaik........................... Hands down best post of the year! Bravo! Congrats to the entire Emotiva family. |

I did not believe that Stereophile had the honesty to admit that an economically priced audio component had the capability of "sounding good" There is hope for you Stereophile, I apologize for now! ;D Congratulations Emotiva! You know and we know that you make great sounding products. This is a great achievement especially when it is recognized by a non-believer. Well done and well earned!  |

Congrats! It sort of always felt like a sideways compliment when reviews would always say how good it was "for the price". Nice to see them take price out of the equation and just say how good it actually sounds. Way to go!

This is too funny!!! ;D ;D ;D Yes, congratulations are definitely in order. IMO an endorsement from Stereophile carries a lot of weight in the audio industry. Weather or not we always agree with their reviews, or subjective review process, there are a lot of folks who see them as an authority on audio gear. The icing on the cake, is the fact that the award is based on performance alone, not price to performance ratio. Good job Dan man! ;D |
