I'm using Ascend Towers with NrT Tweeters for surround, more so for Hi Rez multi ch music, than movie even though they are great for HT as well, guess I lucked out. Djoel

I use Polk Audio LSi15's for the side surrounds, and Polk Audio LSiFX for the rear surrounds. I experimented with many different combinations. What one chooses greatly depends on the room.

These Klipsch Reference series bookshelf speakers work great with my revived, Bob Crite's upgraded Klipsch Legend series front stage speakers. They are quite capable of being used as fronts with good subwoofers. I've been taking advantage of these using the "All Stereo" DSP on the UMC-200 and they do sound impressive full range with one set being run by two of the XPR-5 channels and the other two be run by an XPA-2, not that I need all that power for these but I'm sure I'll need the power in the future for a new Emotiva Reference series setup! ;D BUILT FROM: 2001 BUILT UNTIL: 2003 DIMENSIONS: 17" (43.2cm) x 9" (22.9cm) x 12.2" (30.9cm) ENCLOSURE MATERIAL: Medium density fiberboard construction (MDF) ENCLOSURE TYPE: Bass reflex via rear-mounted port FINISHES: Cherry, Maple or Black Ash wood veneer FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 48Hz-20kHz (+-)3dB HIGH FREQUENCY HORN: 6" square 90(o) x 60(o) Tractrix(r) Horn NOMINAL IMPEDANCE: 8 ohms POWER HANDLING: 150 watts maximum continuous (400 watts peak) SENSITIVITY: 96dB @ 1watt/1meter TWEETER: K-105-K 1" (2.54cm) Titanium dome compression driver WEIGHT: 23 lbs.
