I took my two UPA-1s I was using for the rear surrounds out of service today and put in the UPA-200. Doing so frees up some room in my A/V rack for some more goodies and gives me two amps to power my vintage ADS speakers for the 2-channel system. Can't wait to plug them in! Noticing a bit of a difference in 5.1 listening which means just a bit of a tweak on the volume levels in the pre/pro during some critical listening with a reference DVD playing. Connections were easy, triggers are all in play, I kinda miss those other two blue lights but it's all good.

You can save another two RU of space exchanging your remaining 3 UPA-1's for an XPA-3 and not give up too much.

My two UPA-1s I pulled out of service will have their own rack serving a different system.
Good thought, though!
