Anyone interested in a XPA-5 or two XPA-1's? ;D Not me. I've learned my lesson. I'm going with digital amps from now on. I won't be able to use the Crown amp as a boat anchor when it craps out but at least I can pick it up when I want to re-arraign the audio rack - which is too damned often IMO. It weighs 10 pounds! And delivers 525wpc@4ohms.

Ed,
So...this is why I saw that CNN report today predicting brown-outs across the eastern seaboard soon!
Mark (PS - congrats...I look forward to your review!)

Ed, tell what I'll do for you. I will let you store the XPA-1s at my house while you break in the XPRs. I will even go so far as to pay shipping if you agree to a five year storage agreement.

Welcome to the "unofficial" Emotiva XPR Club !
I'm thinking when the aforementioned club gets truly formalized and chartered, membership should have it's privileges.... ;D

Congrats! Remember... bend your knees when you pick these up! And sharpen your pencil for a detailed review... I actually used a hand truck and met the FedEx Ground driver at the door for my XPR-5, and I'll do the same for the XPR-2 next Monday/Tuesday.

hmmm...what would I do with 4 XPA-1's... ;D And Ed...I'm not sure why you are complaining. We didn't twist your arm or hold any of your friends or relatives hostage.

I'm having lapel pins and tee shirts made for our exclusive "Emotiva Reference Level" club. At Emofest this year, I expect George, Mark and Rickie to be our servants. They can wait on us and bring us food and beer....... Unless they join the club too :-) I already feel like a "big deal"

I'd love to, Ed....but alas...I cannot join the reference club. I have a bad back from too many bad competition water skiing crashes off the ski jump and have issues from triple hernia surgery in the front. So, I will have to have you deliver my food and beverage at the next Emofest to take care of my feeble old body. I will be most grateful.
Mark
