I would think Austin is the best choice, it is a cool, musically-oriented town with a collegial population. And, the geographic location is more central as others have mentioned... -RW- RW - I totally agree!! I vote Austin And you forgot to mention our Texas BBQ is slamming!!

Does this mean there won't be an Emofest 2013, in Franklin over Labor Day weekend?
We are planning to drive up there and meet friends from WI for the weekend, with the primary purpose being to attend Emofest.
Thanks!

Emotiva on the Road is totally different from Emofest. In fact, Emofest this year will be the biggest Emofest ever! We'll be celebrating Emotiva's 10th anniversary.

Whew! I attended my first one last year, and was worried it would be moved! Silly me. I am bringing the whole family for this one, now that I got my Emo legs under me. I will also bring more cash. 8)

Gotta be Austin...that way you can get tickets in advance to "Austin City Limits", a show not to be missed!

As I travel to Austin for business a few times a year, that's my choice.

On the most recent podcast I thought I heard Emotiva will be in Boston on June 22nd! Did I hear that correctly? That is great news, can't wait to check it out.

My vote is for either of the casinos in Connecticut. We are home to some ultra high end manufacturers: Krell, Mark Levinson, and D'Agostino to name a few. It would be nice to have products from a manufacturer that people can actually purchase and use Plus CT is nestled between NYC and Boston so you would pull from those markets as well.
