I'm not good at audiophile terms, but this amp is really great. I put it into my modest system with XDA-1 and NAD c340 to power my ERAa D4 speakers and WOW.
The sound is no longer coming from my speakers,it is just in the space. I can actually hear the placement of the instruments. When closing my eyes Norah, James, Diana and Louis are right there in my room. I have never heard this before in my home. Not with my B&K amp, not with my Parasound amp and not with my NAD internal amp. The sound is full articulate and fun.
Regards,
Charlie

That's a great description. It's really impressive how transparent their cheapest amps can be. Isn't it stupid good?! I have the UPA-2 (not upa-200) and it's sublime on so much music.

The UPA-200 is so good that I question whether or not I should continue to save for an XSP-1. If the U series is this good possibly the usp-1 is for me.

The U series setup I have is really amazing. In my brain I want to "upgrade", but when I sit down to listen I can't really justify it. I have been able to change out the ERA for the New Sonus Faber Venere speakers and the Usp-1/upa-200 is more than up to the task.

I run the UPA-200 for my outdoor UOM-6.2's and they sound ridiculously good out in the backyard, love my Emo amps for the price/performance level...
