Turned on my UPA-1s tonight, and shortly thereafter one of them goes to the red light and the on-off light starts blinking. Very little sound coming out of it and sounds awful. Turned it off and tried it again, and had the same result.
Guess I'll call Emo in the morning.
Anyone have the same problem or have any suggestions?

Try switching it to the other speaker and see if works. It isn't common but it could be the speaker crossover it is currently connected to went bad.

It appears my ERC is the problem. The amp is performing ok with all other sources.
Thanks for the input.

I've been out for the last couple days watching my son play in a college golf tournament, so sorry about not responding.
The ERC is shutting down my upa1, the red light blinks, and the right channel sounds awful when this happens. Going to call Emo tomorrow.
Thanks!

Colby,
Sorry you're having problems with your system. I have a ERC-1 so I'm always interested when someone has an issue with theirs. Over a year ago I had to have the loader replaced in mine. It's been fine since. Keep us posted. Good Luck J
