Right show, wrong time.
At the same period my wife has a few days off from work and we plan to go camping with our caravan. (Children have also school holiday). I'll never be able to convince my wife to travel 700 km, one way trip, with our caravan for 4 days.... Real bummer...
Jessica, are you also going there to announce an European distribution / support center???

oh no,... Germany, beer, audio, autobahn, terrible mix. Must.... hold.... credit card.... in.... wallet,..... On a side note, New York Audio show is coming middle of April. 14th and 15th if memory serves but I might be off a day or two. I met you guys at Axpona in NY last year, Germany is great fun! We'll be in Chicago on 4/13: emotiva.com/news/index.php/2013/02/20/emotiva-on-the-road-chicago-saturday-april-13-2013/I take the non-answer to the NY Audio Show question as a no.

So... can an American make a purchase from one of these shows? It would be an easier way for me to get the XPA-2 without the several hundred in shipping costs ;D... also by this time I'm sure the XMC-1 will be released and in full production, so bring that with you as well. I'm only here another year and I guess I could wait until I'm back on U.S. soil, but I'm just saying... sure would be nice.

Since last evening the change of me visiting High End in Munich has increased by at least 60% ;D
We then decided to go camping near Legoland Germany at the same time (and of course to visit the parc with our children). Luckily Munich is just over 100 KM away from Legoland Germany.

Does anybody know if the XMC-1 will be presented at the Munich High End Show 2013?? This will be for me the decisive factor to visit High End Show and drop by at the Emotiva stand...

I would e-mail Big Dan directly and ask him that question. I would not just hope he reads your post here on the Lounge as there is a good chance he would not see your post. Having said that, I would fully expect that Emotiva will present the XMC-1 or a prototype of it. Emotiva was showing the prototype last Sept during Emofest and it enthralled everyone in attendance.

The XMC-1 is not at the Munich show. We will have a killer Stealth 8 and 6 demo as well as a few DAC presentations. Lonnie, Nick H., and Damon are en route to Germany as we speak!

Enjoy the Munich show, I hope you will have lots of great review from there ! I also told a french journalist from the site hdfever to come visit you since Emotiva is well known amongst french enthusiasts online, but not many journalists have seen your great products !

Thanks for the pictures, saarg!
I spy two new products: the Stealth DC-1 and a rotary volume controller. However, those headphones have me interested. Perhaps they are another brand, but I do recall some info about Emotiva Headphones. The ones in the photograph certainly sport the Emotiva color theme.
The speaker stands for the two Stealth models look familiar. Oh yeah, I have a pair of those in my bedroom. ;D
The booth looks great. I'm glad to see the DC-1 and XPA-1L making an appearance.

Kinda neat to see Emotiva making a presence, I hope they were excited as we are about the Emotiva line. Wished I could have strolled around all that goodness. It doesn't look like the best listening conditions though still would have liked going through the place.

I was there Saturday and it was truly a fantastic show overall. It was truly pleasing to see the company who's gear is the heart of my home theater system there representing. The Emotiva staff were knowledgeable, warm and friendly but no Big Dan . However Lonnie was kind enough to sign my UMC-1 manual . Awesome gear, prices and people keep people like me at your door. Keep it up and thanks! Dave

Thanks for the link. There were many talented companies there, but one of the most impressive displays I saw was the McIntosh setup. I didn't even know they made turntables. I have pictures from my cell phone, that I'll try to post later. I'm a sucker for their famous dial displays. Speaking of which, I got to see first hand the display capabilities of the XPR beast at the show. I had no idea the lights moved like that... hypnotizing.

Those are Ayon Audio's new Blackfire XS speakers. Cost 50,000 euro / pair, gulp! Now that's what a call a good sized Air Motion tweeter! The tweeter complete with horn (Beyma TPL 150H) can be bought for around 500 euro though. According to the guy posting the pictures they did not sound good....
