I keep coming back to Dan's teaser photo, and every time I do, my palms get sweaty, my pulse increases, and my pants get tight primal desire fills every breath... Ya know, I've never seriously considered vinyl due to the additional time and effort involved, not to mention the storage requirements. This new teaser photo, however, is enough to make me look around for local record vendors and evaluate my storage constraints. The purists will say that I'm not fired up about vinyl itself (the whole analog experience), but merely turned on by the equipment. I'll admit that's true, but some folks respond differently to the same thing or require a different stimulus. If it gets me to try out vinyl, is that such a bad thing? Also, is it concerning that I've already picked out a spot on top of my rack for this Emotiva Turntable (ETT-1)? Please help me with my addiction. The wish list continues to grow with each passing day: - XMC-1 - 2 more XPA-1L - eXec mini system - Media streamer - XSP-1 ...and now, a turntable. Sigh.

Hey DR... you know the XSP-1, XPA-1Ls and, now, the XTT-1 (just speculating on the name) have gotta come hand in hand to get the " full" analog experience..... Seriously though, if you've never experienced vinyl "done right", man are you in for a treat...!!! Don't worry about finding "sources" for vinyl, they're plentiful. You can purchase "new" from Amazon, Elusive Disc and Music Direct or purchase "used" from Discogs (www.discogs.com). Of course, there's always your local thrift stores like "Goodwill" (one of my favorites). You'd be surprised what you can find for a buck, but you have to invest the time into inspecting and "properly" cleaning those bargains. They're worth it though. Good luck and happy hunting.....

It's round on the top with blue ring and its on media section so its TT. That sure looks like an LP sitting on top of that "glowing" acrylic platter too. Hmmm.... I wonder if it could "unseat" my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon.....

If its a TT I want it. Put me on the PreOrder list now please. Or better yet, I'll be happy to Beta test that baby.

Wow, two pages and no one's asked if you'll be able to dim the platter.

The blue glow sure does have a calming effect. I would enjoy having it bright enough to bath the room with a blue glow when all lights are out.
