Keith, I was wondering if you could tell me how to read the watts being output by the XPA-2 based on the number of LEDs that light up.

Yes I have gone over that thread but the only person who gives some actual numbers on this is stiehl11 and he also says "lets assume" so the numbers he uses are in question. I thought it would be good if someone from Emotiva settled this once and for all.

Good luck with that; they haven't been for at least the 3 years that I've asked the question. The best answer that I've received is that it's logarithmic. So, we just need to find the base.

For a company like Emotiva that prides itself with releasing measurement data on their amps why would there be a need for so much secrecy in releasing this information on the LED's?

i can get em going a little over 1/2 way across the xpa 1s on spikes its fairly loud at those times.. not to often.. im just a wee bit crazy.. cheers..
