Not happy with Fed Ex .. Told me they had wrong address . Instead of Cir for circle he had Cur. I think he took one look at it and said no way . There is no work ethic in Fl. Suppose to get del. today..now I'm thinking I should have ordered two just to make his day ..life is beautiful .

O.K. Now I am angry. I just got my order of 1" spaced double bananas. THEY DON'T FIT - $82.20 DOWN THE DRAIN!!! I measured the terminal spacing on the 7-350 before I ordered but I didn't get down on my knees and eyeball it closely. The spacing is more like 1 1/16" (nobody's standard)! So out to the RatShack to buy the singles I should have bought in the first place. Grrrr!

The best/cheapest bananas I've found are the Sewell Direct on Amazon...12pr of their "Deadbolt" design for $28.

I was lucky enough to snag one of these amps. As soon as I was done listening to the podcast I went to the sherbourn site and couldn't believe my eyes. I ordered it on the spot. Selkec: I replaced an xpa 5 and this amp actually runs much cooler. We watched " the great and powerful oz" Saturday night. After the movie was over I went over to the amp and felt the top. Barely warm. My umc 1 was twice as hot as the amp. I am only running four speakers on it right now however,(Polk lsi 15 and lsi 7) so YMMV. It seems to definitely be a step up from the xpa 5 sonically, especially in dynamics. I'm going to wait until I get some more listening before I give a full review though, but so far I am quite thrilled with this amp.

The bananas I got at the Shack look exactly like the ones in your pic. except 'Radio Shack' instead of 'Sewell". (But they cost a lot more!)

I still ordered the sherbourn rackmount cooler just to have it. I am building a flexy rack while I wait so I may incorporate it into my new rack

(But they cost a lot more!) true. are the rat shack ones tool-less or do they need an allen key? The ones I saw there had an allen and the nice things about the Sewell is that they don't. I'm kicking myself for all the Monoprice stuff I have in my basement system because it wasn't any cheaper and not nearly as nice.

I don't have a rack either, I placed the C-12 rite on top, fits perfectly. You can place the beast on a glass top on top of your furniture. Glass doesn't compress that easily, just don't drop it! Plug amps directly into wall, they have self protecting circuitry. Let me know about the 4z-75, I'm looking hard at one.

End of the month del..Electrician is family so I'll probably move forward with it . Quoted me $60 to run two lines and I picked up most of the supplies already. The Pa-7 is sitting in the middle of my pre- install room ( living room ) and my back aches just walking by it . Waiting on interconnects ..I'm in over my head . I have pretty much done nothing in audio since my last Pa-7 ( Nakamichi Stasis ) back in very early 90's . I'll let you know about the 4z-75 just not sure how timely it will be .
