I wanted to get a 1245 12 ch amp but had to put it off...partly as the shipping was going to be $130 and partly as the specs all channels driven didnt quite get me what i needed. Will have to wait for a better emo option in the future i think.

I grabbed a PA7350 and PT7030. Got them both hooked up last night. First realization, I will never be able to use all of this power. I cranked it LOUD and even on a 15A circuit it played like a champ. Can't imagine what it would do on 20A or more. The system sounds great and I am really happy. Killer deal.

Pre-1s and 7-350's are showing up on eBay and Audiogon as 'new in the box' for twice the price. I bought a 7-350 and I see a few lamenting the fact that they missed out. I'd rather see someone get these deals who actually wants to use the product but I guess we can't control that, although maybe it would help if we didn't promote the great sale on blogs known to be hostile to Emotiva.

Got a Pa-7 350..Ordered it less then two hours after initial post . Had access to everything but couldn't pull the trigger..still thinking about Pt7030 . I wasn't even a member or Emotiva owner but had been researching for weeks . Like most things in life , it's all about timing. One reason I pulled the trigger on this amp was my last decent amp was a Nakamichi Pa-7 Stasis , Robert Grodinsky preamp and Apogee Sig speakers .The world of audio has come a long way since and I think I'm in over my head ..Looking forward to owning Emotiva .

Pulled the trigger on a SR-8100. I had been looking at a UMC-200 / UPA-500 combination, but from what I could see the SR-8100 is basically both of those in a single box for 1/2 the price. Hope I got it right....

Hope I got it right.... You got it spot on my friend. As someone who has had the UMC-200/UPA-700 for review, there is virtually no difference in connectivity and/or performance by going with the SR-8100 -minus preamp outputs of course. I use an SR-8100 in my media room with EMP Tek speakers and it's great, arguably one of the best AV receivers I've used in recent memory save maybe the NAD T757 which is four or five times the price. I have Onkyo and Integra in house too, but the simplicity and focus on sound quality is what makes the SR-8100 remain connected. I felt the same way about the NAD, which is why I kept it for so long, however, the SR-8100 unseated it a few months ago.

These individuals who bought Sherbourn via the summer sale -especially towards the end (within weeks before the merger sale) -should contact Emotiva. They're handling issues such as these on a case-by-case basis, but are still trying to work with customers who may feel "let down" or upset over the even better price of the merger sale.

Its sad that the people who want the products can't get them. Then to see them on ebay postings!! That would make me mad. I'm happy I was able to place my order quick, I would not have been able to without the deep discount.

Emotiva should get ebay to remove it!! www.ebay.com/itm/Sherbourn-PA-7-350-7x350-Watt-Amplifier-/141033095931?pt=US_Home_Audio_Amplifiers_Preamps&hash=item20d63a42fb

I find it sad and irritating that many of the units were bought only for the purposes of flipping them for a profit but then that's human nature, I suppose. However, the sale was announced first to those on the forum and the mailing list so those of us who are big Emo fans as evidenced by our hanging out here on the lounge were given first crack at the sale items. At those crazy prices you figure the inventory wasn't going to last long. In that sense, we have only ourselves to blame if we hesitated. Still, I hate seeing the products relisted for gain.

I'd have to say that I have the same reaction... disappointment that people do this for personal monetary gain, rather than auditory gains Hopefully most of them found their way into homes that will love to listen to them and love them even more with the great deal they got.

While I am sure some might see those individuals flipping units as 'enterprising', I find it pretty despicable as well. This was a great opportunity for people to get products that they might not otherwise be able to afford who really want to use them. I feel fortunate that I was able to take advantage of this opportunity and wish more could have legitimately. As GreenWiki said, I hope these items find their way to people who are truly enthusiasts and value their use.

I wanted the PRE-1. But it was already gone. Then just by luck the very next day I was showing a co worker the site and just for fun I hit the PRE-1 and it showed it as available-Bought that sucker right there. Then the next day get an email from the Sherbourn lady that they ran out and 'sorry for the inconvenience'! Inconvenience??? I ordered a product, you took my money then you say to me you don't have the product. Not Inconvenient...but BAD BUSINESS. First when I bought my Emotiva Amp it didn't come with the Owners manual-not a good 1st impression for a new customer, then this....... I really wanted to score that thing...... Dang... I know that untimely advice is just salt in a wound, but....
In the future we should keep in mind that if there is any question about availability, that we should call and talk to them. I did, and got one of the Pre-1s still on the boat.
