I've asked this question before, but quite a while back, so before I jump in and try the project, I'll ask again, just to make sure I've not forgotten:
I've some black vinyl wrapped bookshelf cabinets that I'd like to redo in cherry vinyl. I got the vinyl from Parts Express & I'm ready to go. As I recall, the procedure is to wrap a little at a time & then flatten with a credit card to keep bubbles out of the wrap. Then go around corners until an overlap is reached. Overlap the tag ends & cut through both layers with a razor blade. Remove the bottom tag end & the ends should meet seamlessly.
Where this won't work is where the cabinets are mitered (and of course, mine are). How does one make the edges meet without obvious overlap where a mitered corner is needed?
Thanks - Boomzilla

Hey boom I just took a close look at my axiom computer speakers. The seams are on the top and bottom. As far as I can tell the front, sides are one piece and there is one seam on back side where side and back meet. They are so tight that its really hard to notice. One the corner I would think you still have to overlap and cut down the two. You want it to be super straight cut. They probably use a machine with a bit to trim the speakers but I'm not 100% on that. I know its not easy again I would keep cut seams towards the back where its harder to see them. Guess that's why so many speakers are black. Well besides black being beautiful!

Yeah that can be installed on car speakers. I also love beautiful vehicle wraps that can be used in many ways to customize the looks of your vehicles. I have used them on steering, bumper and windows of my classic car to give it a personal touch.
