All right, not a re-make but a sequel: Caddyshack 2. Absolutely the lamest movie I've ever seen. And the shame of riding on the coattails of Caddyshack is simply unforgivable!

Since this list would be way too long, I'll just add any americanized japanese horror.

War of the Worlds. The remake was one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Anyway just my opinion. Movie Stupid. Soundtrack is ridiculously crazy. Only thing that has EVER put my Denon receiver (pre-emotiva amps) into safety mode. And that's why I bought the blu-ray.

Yeah....The Day the Earth Stood Still The Day My Life Stood Still...2 hours I will never get back. Yet just another reason I hate going to theaters What is really sad is that I bought the remake JUST to get the remastered edition of the original that came with it. I'll add another to the list... That horrible 2002 remake of The Time Machine although the time machine prop was the highlight of the show. Props to the prop-designer on that masterpiece. The soundtrack was the highlight of the Reeve War of the Worlds. I still use the ferry scene as demo material.
