I think it would be much better if we put down why;
A spaghetti western, Sergio Leone and Clint Eastwood enough said, say a Fistful of Dollars, but any of them deserves to be here.
The Lethal Weapons, Mel Gibson and Danny Glover with Eric Clapton's music, say #1 as it was the original.
Kill Bills, Quentin Tarantino, Uma Thurman and David Carradine, so much pop culture, a must on my list.
Star Treks, not all great movies, but Gene Roddenberry introduced so much of the space travel terminology, warp speed, phasers, beam me up Scotty, etc my personal preference is First Contact.
Star Wars, the original of course.
The Bourne Series, books by Robert Ludlam, Matt Damon in the lead, I prefer the last of the trilogy, The Bourne Ultimatum.
Dirty Harry, Clint Eastwood, so many quotable quotes, "Go ahead. Make my day", "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?", "“When a naked man is chasing a woman through an alley with a butcher’s knife and a hard-on, I figure he isn’t out collecting for the Red Cross", "You forgot your fortune cookie. It says, ‘You’re sh** out of luck'". My preference is The Enforcer, with a very young Tyne Daly.
The Matrix, Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving one of my favourite actors, took over from so many previous attempts at a computer generated world and made it memorable. Again the original is the stand out
Back to the Futures, Michael J. Fox and the legendary Christopher Lloyd with the DeLorean, directed by Robert Zemeckis who also co wrote it with Bob Gale and produced by Steven Spielberg, Huey Lewis and the News with the theme song "The Power of Love". I actually like all 3 so I'm not going to make a choice here.
Indiana Jones, Steven Speilberg, George Lucas and Harrison Ford, the original created such a stir when it premiered that it's impossible to go past Raiders of the Lost Ark as the pick.
I'm going to slip in an 11th, Superman with Christopher Reeve, an actor born to play the Man of Steel.
Guilty pleasures; Any Marvel comics movie, Spiderman, Thor, Avengers, Hulk, Iron Man Any DC comics movie, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern
Cheers Gary
