Ok so after building 2 subs. I now want a massave center to match my towers I want it to have 2 or 4 of the silver woofers like in my mains. 2 mids and a tweet. Not sure about crossover maybe rtia7 xover and run the subs in parallel to get same ohm rating. As for the mids the rtia7 only has one the a9 has two so maybe could use that part. I really don't know. But I want to figure out how to accomplish this.
Any help will be appreciated. Even if you say it can't be done

Now Im running an x-voce. It seems to timbre match really well. My second option is use all parts from it that I can but add 2 more woofers gr research sells 16 ohm versions so I could get 4 and parallel each side back down to 8 ohm and not need to change crossover. Just would need bigger box. This would be slot cheaper but not match in looks and true timbre match

Something like this? (axiom speakers) or this? Kinda but I want two 7" woofers per side then MY then two more 7" woofers and all Polk drivers to match my mains. It could cost me alot to do. But I think it would look cool and also match better looks and sound wise.

That anyone is only 3 inch longer than my xvoce anyways. Not big enough. more like this but with polk 7"subs on the end. Or maybe just this. This is close to my xvoce with 2 added woofers

I can't wait to see what you come up with. Post some pictures of the subs when you get a chance.

What center do you have now? A good center is all about voicing not number of woofers to match your mains. Centered dialog doesn't require that many drivers. Why do you think Polk themselves sells the CSiA6 as the matching center for your mains?

Why do you think Polk themselves sells the CSiA6 as the matching center for your mains? My xvoce matches better than the csia6. Polk csia6 I didn't like. too much sss and had no punch like the x-voce. I also like big speakers so why not make my own with matching Polk components

The csia6 is lacking bass and punch Not really what a center is known for but you can always add a dedicated sub or two just for the center to "add" that to the voice soundtrack of a movie. That would be a much easier build and also serve to add more bass overall. Imagine 4-8" (or 10"!) sundowns in a box with your center sitting on top. BTW what speaker is xvoce?

ths xvoce is pictured below Attachment DeletedIm just in the mood to build something that has all matching drivers. I thought about adding subs to the center but I don't think I want that much bass from it. I want the mid bass punch like I have now but with matching drivers and polk does not make a center capable of that. Klipsch, paradigm, my xvoce are all big centers. Why cant polk make one. The csia6 sucks compared to what I have now

Try calling polk audio and ask them if they might have an a-9 with a damaged cabinet in stock that they would sell you for cheap. This way you'd have all the drivers and crossover. Probably cheaper than buying them all seperately. When you build your new box, you'll have to put the power port on the rear, like the polk centers have.

Chris that looks like a pretty good price for that kit. I wonder how you would wire the fourth woofer though? The crossover is designed for three woofers. I wonder if the fourth would lower the impedance too much and burn up crossovers? I guess you could wire them in series but that means less power going to your speaker. You would also need a little more box volume over the a-9 to take full advantage of the fourth woofer. I would call or e-mail Polk Audio and ask how and if you can hook up that extra woofer to the RTI12 crossover. Polk has really good customer service. They've always been very helpful anytime I've had a question. Worse case, you could always use the fourth woofer as a passive radiator. This would be an awesome center channel. Hope your able to pull it together.
