A few comments about air filtration. First, do you REALLY need HEPA levels? Anybody have any idea how small 3 microns IS? For those keeping track, that's 30,000 Angstroms.
I've worked in class 1000 to class 10 clean rooms with the entire ceiling basically one gigantic HEPA and the floor was composed of tiles with holes in 'em to let air into an underfloor plenum. Nice. And you could NOT really feel the air flow. Even though the room air exchanged very quickly with about 20% NEW, outside air added.
The problem w/ going HEPA? the Filter has MUCH more restriction to airflow….so, you either settle for less airflow OR use a more powerful and Probably NOISIER fan. You also probably need to change filters more often in a home environment which is, for HEPA purposes, pretty dusty. I'd like to see a filter system made using a automotive Cabin Air Filter…..They are inexpensive and available in a large variety of sizes and shapes.

I keep the air flow moving and filter with a set of Sherbourn C-12 fans. I don't think I need more then that,,,,,,,the rest is covered with a 5 year Emotive warranty. No worries! Nick
