Had an email this morning saying that MOG was bought out by Beats Music and will be going away. They claim to have a new service coming out but have not tried or know anything about it yet. I loved MOG and enjoyed the 320 sound quality of the large selection of music. Sorry to see it go.

They have all access passes that go for around $7.00 a month. I live on Google Music and couldn't be happier.

I was a MOG lover, too. I knew Beats bought MOG but I wasn't expecting the change so quickly.
Guess I'll have to try Google or Amazon as Andrew suggested.

Mog will shutdown in March. I have no idea what the beats streaming service is doing to amp up their goals for marketshare but seems they took a long time to develop this with the mog team and now have launched. I too am a mogger and dig the service. I have to reserve judgment till later.

I recently discovered Spotify and I love it!!!
It looks a bit like itunes IMO, but the selection on there really is quite good. It allows you to listen to what you want, at anytime you want. They do have short commercials here and there, but not nearly as many as Pandora does. Plus you can select what album you want to listen to, and (for the most part) they will have the full album on there.
The quality is ok, but not audiophile grade IMO. It is fine for parties, casual listening, and using it as a way to check out new muic. However, I am using the free version. The paid version allows for higher quality, so that version may be fine for even critical listening.

I use Spotify and love it. Its great to make collaborative playlists with my friends and to send each other new music.

From what I understand the free version of Spotify streams at 192kbps like Pandora. For 9.95 p/mon it will stream most material at 320kbps. For 4.95 p/mon Mog will stream all material at 320kbps. For 9.95 it will also stream to other devices like Spotify's 9.95 p/mon plan.
I reserve opinion on the Beats buy out thing. It could prove to be even better than MOG. We will see.

We'll all soon be listening to Rap at 64kbps over "Dr dre"'s miserable headphones.
In Pelosi's words Embrace the Suck.
Or not!

I have both MOG and Spotify. MOG has some nice features, but Spotify is my go to. It will be interesting to see what Beats does with the service.

I hope so, I have more of my music there (due to autorip) than on Google.

I've been a dedicated MOG subscriber for a few years primarily because of the audio quality and because I consider the service and apps to be more album centric than other services. I spent some time trying Beats today and was impressed by the approach of curated music but it's definitely not as focused on album listening in my opinion. The MOG iPad app's simplicity is just about perfect so I'm going to miss the service a great deal. Rather bummed.
Based on Robinson's recommendation, I began a trial of Google Music's All Access and enabled high quality. The iPhone app is good and seems to work well on the iPad scaled to 1x view. AirPlay worked and I'm interested to learn the true bit rate. I predict Google will be my post-MOG solution.

My response from MOG:
Hello,
Thank You for corresponding with us and for your subscription to Beats Music. Yes, Beats Music will continue to stream 320 kbps for all musical content and no Beats Music will not be in any other partnerships.
Thank You
