Some of my amps are in tough to reach spots, I feel the locking XLRs just add an extra unnecessary step to remove the cables for home audio. So far non of mine have jumped/fell out. I use a combination of pro amps and emotiva amps. My QSC and Crest amps have the locking xlrs and the connection is so secure. It just feels safe. The connections on the xpa3 are good but feel a little flimsy, there is some wiggle. |

I would like to see locking XLR connectors on all X and R series products, it's one of the advantages that XLRs offer. RCAs are available for those not wanting locks and you could probably modify an XLR cable not to lock (if they're not available commercially).
