All Klipsch KG speakers as you can see by my signature.....
Just purchased an Oppo BDP-103, and am waiting to buy the XMC-1.
Medium sized listening space, 18ft by 13ft.
Should I (or can I) pair the XPA-5 with the XPA-200?
Should I (or can I) pair the XPA -5 with the XPA-2? (Use the XPA-2 for the front??)
Looking for any and all suggestions....thanks for your help.

Will you be doing 2 channel listening? If so you may want to go with XPA-5 and a pair of MONOBLOCKS ,,,,,,,,XPA-100 . Edit; if you have the $$$ you could get different monos. Nick

Yes, I'm sure I will be doing some 2 channel listening, but also watching DVD/Blu Ray concert discs, and recorded concerts via my U-Verse DVR, as well as iTunes, Pandora, etc, etc.
I would consider the MONOBLOCKS but my main speakers are going to be about 5-6 feet from the amps. Is that too far? Thanks again.

XPA-5 and XPA-2. If you want to do the XPA-200 make it go for the surrounds and have the XPA-5 power the big boys. The XPA-100 has a different gain structure than the others which is possible to compensate for in your AVR. If you actually wanted to go XPA-200 and use them for surrounds might as well go for a UPA-200 to save more money.

XPA-1L is a fine amplifier. A superb performer, IMHO. You can't go wrong.

Maybe this is heresy around these parts but he's got Klipsch speakers with 98db sensitivity and people are recommending monoblocks?!? I'm shocked that no-one said to go for 7 XPR-1's haha. Although he could be served by a UPA-7 with those speakers, if more headroom is wanted then a XPA-2 and an XPA-5 would be perfect. That being said, due to the cost of getting 2 XPA-1L and an XPA-5, he might consider an XPR-5 and an XPA-200 or UPA-200 as it would only be a few hundred different. $2397 for XPA-1L route vs $2648 for XPR and UPA. And yes I see the irony of me recommending the XPR Edit: Just to put in into perspective, my UPA-7 and 86db speakers can be heard at the opposite end of my townhouse complex so there is no shortage of volume.

XPA-5 and UPA-200. Better yet, find a used UPA - 7. Monoblocks are overkill and completely unnecessary with your speakers.

The XPA-2 is more than capable for front duty. Your Klipsch are easily driven and any of Emotiva's power amplifiers will do the job, but in my opinion, when buying power amplifiers, buy for the future and don't skimp now. When/If you upgrade speakers in the future you won't be wishing you had the extra headroom that you didn't buy to begin with. The XPA-5 & XPA-2 will be in your home theater for a long time. Just my 2 cents worth.

It's funny that even though my UPA-7 is more power than I need I still feel like I should have tried to go the XPA route if I could have come up with the cash haha. I think it's that upgradeitis that everyone is talking about.

I have a 7.1 and a 2.0 system that I drive with the UPA-7 & UPA-2 respectively. Since my electronics are located inside a custom cabinet, I really don't have space for 3 power amps. I am still hoping that Emo will produce an XPA-7 to which can upgrade. Sometimes I feel like I'm waiting in vain

If critical stereo listening is something you care for, I truly recommend to build your system on two 1L's. I just got a few for my fronts and I'm loving it. Then just add an XPA-5 and don't look back.

Well kids, I went ahead and ordered an XPA-5 to start with, and I'll play with that for a while until I decide on the other channels....Also have an Oppo BDP-103 coming, and ordered cables from Monoprice. I'm anticipating everything arriving by this coming Friday, so it should be a fun weekend!! Once again, thanks for all of your help and advice. I'm sure I'll be back to ask more questions.....
