Great choice with the XPA-5,,,,it's the Rock that all HT systems should be built on. The XPA-1L s will do everything else you need at a price you can swing. Be patient and you will build the ultimate system you have always wanted. I'm going that route and some day I will arrive at my destination,,,,,,,,,,and start over,,,,,he,,,,,,he,,,,,,he,,,,,,NOT!!!
Most of the fun of having a destination is the journey to get there. Enjoy your trip and don't forget to keep us all updated.
Peace,
Nick

Patience is not exactly one of my virtues...but I get it...
Nick, I notice that you have a 103, and Apple TV, and a Roku stick....may I ask how these are used, and how much do you get out of one that you don't out of the others?

Just some additional info:
I purchased a UPA-7 and ran everything through it for qute some time. Totally great with Klpisch. (See Sig) I've really never gotten close to pushing the UPA-7 to its full output. It gets pretty scary after 100 db.
I then picked up a B stock UPA-2 during one of the Emo warehouse sales. I now use that for the mains. I can't hear any difference between the 7 and the 2. It's is nice that I have the UMC set to power on the UPA-2 only when the kids flip to the game console.
And yes, I have 2 channels on the UPA-7 unused at this time.
Congats on the XPA-5 purchase. I'm sure you'll love it with the KG 5.5s!
