It was as humiliating a loss as I can remember. Kings fans in attendance were energized when the Kings took immediate control of the game, and the Ducks laid a huge egg. Sutter was smarter than Boudreau. Kings were better prepared, and outplayed the Ducks decidedly.
Nice post game display by both teams in honor of Selanne's retirement. Selanne played the ending game shift, and both the Kings, Ducks, and fans from both teams gave him quite a nice tribute & ovation.

Pulling for Chicago. Kings handed the Ducks their goose on a platter last night. I was embarrassed to say the least. yup the kings are looking and playing like champions... Not so much today.

Looks like the Habs are done like dinner. Would have liked the cup back in Canada...

When you have a goalie, like Lundqvist, standing on his head, you just watch and admire it.

This is playing out similar to the Ducks Kings series. Kings are disciplined and patient. When the opposition makes a mistake, the Kings capitalize and take full advantage of their chances. Quick has been solid and Doughty has kicked it up a step. Series is far from over, but Hawks need to speed the PUCK out of the zone, and put more traffic in front of Quick. The Sharp deflection was the right idea.

The Hawks have to start playing like there captain. The rest of the team are playing like dogs.

I am glad to see the Rangers win this one in overtime. The Montreal embellishments were getting annoying.

I am glad to see the Rangers win this one in overtime. The Montreal embellishments were getting annoying. But the Rangers' stick work and slew footing are fine?! Forget Milbury's whining. "Mad Mike" doesn't have much credibility as a player, coach, general manager or commentator. The Rangers should know from experience that at being down 3 games to 1, the series isn't quite over. Let's see what happens in Montreal.

"Mad Mike" doesn't have much credibility as a player, coach, general manager or commentator. The Rangers should know from experience that at being down 3 games to 1, the series isn't quite over. Let's see what happens in Montreal. If they commit the foul, I'm fine with the appropriate stick infraction being called, but the head snapping back routine when no contact is made, or being launched to the ice when lightly cross-checked is flat out embarrassing. I wish the league were more active in calling dives, and assessing fines/suspensions from the review of subsequent game video when the embellishment is obvious. I'm sure the officials review certain fouls between periods, and don't like being made fools. I thought there were at least three serious embellishments by Montreal. Slew foot....thought that was PKS on Dorsett the other night. Edit: Good article this AM on embellishment from TSN.ca www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=453182

Don't count the Hawks out yet. They have looked like the lesser team this whole series though.
My house has been a scary place with all the Hawk self destruction going on. It's cute and scary when your lady is blood boiled by her team not winning.

Disappointing effort by the Hawks, I mean the Kings are a good team, but come on, can`t the Hawks even make a decent pass with the puck.
