Hand on heart, I would not take a bet that involved me identifying the two bias modes in a blind test, even with a 50% chance of being right. Low bias sounds near-as-makes-no-difference identical to high bias at my typical listening volumes. And that's totally OK with me.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'm thinking of spending the money to buy room treatment instead. Time to put some diffusers behind my maggies.
