Hello all, Craig from Virginia here. Look forward to investing in some Emotiva equipment in the near future. Want to get back into hi-fi again, but don't have the budget. This Emotiva product set is very intriguing to me.
Have been out of the Audio scene since the early nineties and now ready to resume.
Best,
C

Welcome to the Lounge! I started with an XPA-5 about 4 years ago...
If you can swing Emofest in Atlanta later this month you could get to know the great people that work there and see the products first hand.

Welcome back--the same route I took a couple of years ago.
My kids are in Suffolk and work in Newport News--and we will be there in a few years once we retire.

Welcome C. With Emotiva your budget will go a long way. I'm amazed at how good my Emotiva/Sherbourn equipment sounds.
It is a little bit crazy in the lounge here. Just roll with the flow and filter out the information that you need. It's kind of fun!

Welcome to the Lounge! I replaced my Acurus amps with Emo's XPA line and have been very happy for the last 5 years. No regrets.

Hello Craig. I am also in the Alexandria/Fairfax County area and was curious what part you are in. I have been investigating separates and Emotiva since December 2012. I finally went with the UMC-200 and XPA-5 and could not be happier. I am not an audiophile, but still enjoy good sound.
Have fun getting back into the Audio scene.
