For me, trigger out is the one must-have that is missing from this otherwise awesome little unit. Countless nights have been spent dreaming about the DC-1, each ending with the same predictable "WWHHHYYYYYY@#%" and then reluctantly, not buying one.
Does anyone else feel this way?
Background: my amp (XPA-200) needs to live in a location remote from my pre-amp and speakers, due to just not having the space for the behemoth. I'm not prepared to leave my amp on 24/7.

Agreed. Check out the feature set on Oppo HA-1. Amazing. Trigger out, iPod integration. It is double the height (at least) of the Stealth.
Maybe the Stealth DC-2 will have trigger?

Double the height.:. And the price...
But a very cool unit.
Trigger out would have been handy.

I think you can 'blame' the DC-1's Pro line heritage, triggers are not common there. Maybe an XDA-3 will someday give us the best of both worlds.

I will be trying to find a way to do this once mine arrives this week..might require some internal works but I too have 12 reasons to not leave my amps on...I use a 12 channel amp to drive the actively driven speakers in my stereo setup. unfortunately the DC-1 might have power on internally all the time too as it runs fairly warm even when off.

My universal remote (Harmony 700) turns on and off everything I want to turn on and off, including the DC-1. So, I don't need triggers.
