Don't know. I was in the dark when I read about and looked at the pictures which by the way were not that revealing.
I am being patient. Right now I still need to put more money into the piggy bank. Also I was considering headphones.
Christmas...maybe

You are describing what I have basically. That's a Pro-Ject RM 5.1SE. It lists for about $1k, and includes the Sumiko Blue Point No 2 ($300). It has a heavy platter, a good motor, and with the speedbox keeps perfect speed. I don't know the weight of the plinth comparatively, but it sounds great! I have my eye on the RPM5.1 with a 2M Blue. Is there much involved (difficult?) in setting it up, and is it set and forget? Thanks, Dave. Mine was already set up out of the box. I did take it to the needle doctor for a checkup and they found it was properly set up. I have had no issues with it at all. Set it up and play music! |

I have my eye on the RPM5.1 with a 2M Blue. Is there much involved (difficult?) in setting it up, and is it set and forget? Thanks, Dave. Mine was already set up out of the box.
