I'm sure Emotiva's competition would like to know what phase a Emotiva product is in too...... Good point, I like Mark's idea, but it might be TMI. But Dan has already given much of that information for years. Just inconsistently. A comment here. Podcast there.. a post here. Many of the products don't really have a direct competitor - or at least a competitor that really would change depending on Emotiva's timeline.

No system is ever perfect, but some are better than others. Right? Is a structured system with accurate categorization better than a free form one open to misinterpretation? I would say "yes".
And, as far as taking someone to do it..yes, it does. But, in my work, we keep meeting notes. And it takes very little time to do as we do it "live". They should be able to handle it. I mean, they had time for Andrew to make a video for how to sign up for eclub...surely they can make time for value-add public relations!

I just think he's DIHD DIHD. Someone will be looking at every word, every date, every mention to find fault no matter what the system in place. Then it will disintegrate right here by those that feed on that sort of thing. I liked the intro of the UMC-200. A bit of a surprise and although shown at Emofest little was said until it just became available.

Being a two channel guy, I think it's too much stuff in one box subject to quick outdating!

Mark I may be wrong, but when Andrew was initially brought on board, wasn't it explained here that part of his role was to assist in better communication; particularly helping establish and create a 'cleaner' more streamlined roll-out of new products? Why has that responsibility been taken from him? He has done a great job at establishing a repertoire among the members here. He is articulate and thorough in his communication. I believe most would say he is perceived to be reliable, accurate and credible. He is on the front lines here daily. He has his finger on the pulse of the moods, the concerns, and the general vibe of the Lounge at large. I think it would help tremendously to allow him to weigh in on what should and should not be shared, as well as when and how to do it. Again, I may have misinterpreted, but I really think this was part of his duties. Specifically to prevent reoccurring instances like this.

Even though Emotiva Audio Corporation has it's own obvious faults (nobody is perfect), I can honestly say that NO other company has ever treated me as good as Emotiva Audio Corporation.
Sorry folks, I don't have anymore time today to hang out in the Emotiva Lounge to discuss this matter. -- I must pack-up some old Emotiva gear this evening, then attach the Emotiva pre-paid shipping return labels to the boxes.
Tomorrow, I will drop this old gear off at my local UPS store for shipment back to Franklin, TN.-- Basically, free return shipping to the original sender.
BTW, upon their receipt of my old gear, the original sender (Emotiva) is (free) shipping me out some brand spanking new Emotiva gear via a trade-in deal of my retired gear. This will provide a monetary credit toward making this new purchase at a 20 percent discount.
Although this transaction cost me (minimal), what a deal!-- Thank you Emotiva Audio Corporation. And, I will not ever forget this!
