Novisnick... I am sorry i do not get the joke. Besides sending emotiva an email to their tech department is there a representative that comes on the forum that could verify? Thanks Bill I'm sorry and I mean no disrespect but I've found that my set of XPR-1s would have to be pried from my cold dead hands,,,,,and then you would have to fight my wife for them, good luck with that. the amount of shear power, authorityand dynamics that these amps bring to any system is just remarkable!! im just trying to express myself about how great I believe these amps to be. my journey with Emotiva amps has brought me from multichannel amps to the big dogs and every time I've found that my speakers were hiding abilities that I never thought they contained. The grew bigger, larger , more dynamic and authoritative with each upgrade in power. to conclude my meaning is that the idea of letting my XPR-1s go never crossed my mind, and I don't think anyone that hears them would let them go either. Peace be with you. Nick actually i thought you might be referring to the shear weight of these amps which is just absurd. once i got my xpr-2 and xpr-5 into their respective places there was no way in hell i was ever gonna move them again. kinda like my 15" planer in my wood shop which exceeds 400 lbs. once in place it is there to stay. thank goodness the amps are so so good because if they weren't i would still have to live with them, they are so damm heavy. tchaik.......

Actually, their shear weigh is robust but I was also commenting on their abilities to drive the music through the speakers. I specifically love their sound. I've heard many of Emo's amps and do think the XPR-1 is "cost no object" amp!!

Lonnie is the cheif designer of the amps. He has stated at least a few times that 2 ohms is not a problem. For instance the XPA-1 which does 1000 watts in 4 ohms can do 1800 watts at 2 ohms. I myself have 4 ohm nominal speakers which dip below as well....and get this - my Emotiva UPA-2 which is so many levels below the XPR-1's handle them just fine including at full output! Also here www.audioholics.com/amplifier-reviews/emotiva-xpr1-amplifier/emotiva-xpr1-amplifier-listening-teststhe XPR-1 was driving a large ($50,000, weight 345 lbs each) speaker that dips down to 2 ohms in bass with obviously no issues. These ones
