insert code here 20150202_082813 by AustinIsWeird, on Flickr Just got everything connected on Saturday night. Wife wanted to watch movies before I had any chance to setup levels or verify that I connected everything correctly. I re-wired the whole system since I ran all wires in the ceiling from one side of the room to the other. We have nice bookshelves and I hate entertainment centers... insert code here 20150202_082825 by AustinIsWeird, on Flickr Will try Dirac this week...after I verify that I have all the phasing correct on the LX521s.

Dale...are you using the LXmini's for surround duty? I was going to use my old Pluto's but like you it looks like we are both stuck with monkey coffins for centre duty.

Yes, the LXminis are currently doing surround duty until they are placed elsewhere... Don't you love my current center channel stand. An antique tiger maple chair...

In the house, it came out of the box to test and went right back awaiting the remodel and amp purchase :/

I really have it working in the house. A further question is do you have it optimized, i.e. Dirac Live?
Having run Dirac Live about 8 times, I'm only just now converging on something satisfactory. Right out of the box, first time around with Dirac, it was working ~fine~. But I wanted it to be like "wow, what a difference, so much better". But it wasn't. It was ok, fine. Now, the Dirac sound is preferable > 50% of the time.
I suspect I can do better.
