Gratz to the Raiders and Seahawks... Too bad my Bengals lost to the Stealers. Losing Andy Dalton with a fractured thumb on his throwing hand only makes matters worse! The rookie QB (McCarren) looked really good in pre-season and other than the int didn't look all that bad in his first real NFL game... I still have hopes for the Bengals in the post season this year, but things definitely just got tougher! It'd be really nice if JJ and the Texans could hand the Pats their 3rd loss tonight. JJ Watt has been quieted tonight and with the Patriots up by 21 at this point it looks like they'll reclaim the AFC playoff #1 seed for now.

Was a good win tonight by the Pats but they keep picking up injuries. Still they find ways to win. But the injuries will maybe cost them down the line.

What a boring game. The Texans defense was almost decent but their offense was horrible. Every time they would start a rally they would find a way to blow it. The Pats, even with injuries were about 10 steps above the Texans. The Pats hand work is unbelievable, There were many dropped balls from the Texans that the Pats had knocked out

Oh and watch out for Chuck's Seahawks, they administered a beating today on the Ravens And Russell Wilson has 16 Touchdowns and ZERO Interceptions in the last 4 games. That kid is a freaking winner Russell looked mighty sharp those 4 games with a completion rate of 75.4% and a RTG average of 143! Unfortunately, the Hawks in addition to having Marshawn out for several more weeks, Thomas Rawls the super rookie back broke his ankle and is out for the year. He had a great 1st quarter and then had one of those bad twisting falls. I actually think he is slightly better than Marshawn overall. They also lost Cam Chancelor, their defensive general, not sure for how long. The Seahawks with their fairly balanced offense will have to lean more to the pass in the coming weeks without a star running back. Too bad for the Bengals that Andy Dalton is out with a broken thumb. Sad so many injuries near the end of the regular season. Should be an interesting three weeks! PS: Bill Barnwell said: Do you know how many quarterbacks have thrown 100 or more attempts over a four-game stretch and posted a better passer rating over that span than Wilson? Zero. It has never happened before. (It's only 4 games but still quite an accomplishment!) espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14363989/russell-wilson-playing-best-qb-second-half-ot-season-nflAt least Wilson is finally starting to get some well deserved recognition.

Watching the TB-STL match.. for no other reason than this could be the last game for STL at their current stadium. Will they go to LA? And what about their uniform tonight? Ugh! Darnright ugly, IMHO. Looks worse on a large HDTV.

I'm heading to the parking area earlier today for my daily exercise hike, when it's not raining or blowing hard. I've got the Patriots/Titans game on the radio/Westwood One. The announcers are talking about Gronk and refer to him as having an immense physique. Gronk is 6-6 and 265 lbs. I've lost about 50 lbs since last year. However, two years ago I was 6-4 (6-5 in my football cleats or Corcoran Jump Boots) and weighed 275 lbs. Relatively I had a bigger frame than the Gronk. How come nobody ever referred to me as having an immense physique?

How come nobody ever referred to me as having an immense physique? People comment on my immense physique all the time, but usually not in a complimentary manner. For example, my daughter often hugs me, then looks up and grins as she pats my belly and asks, "so, how's Joey doing?" Mark

Who's the only QB in NFL history to have gone 5 games with at least 3 or more touchdown passes in each game with zero interceptions? Hint: 19 touchdowns and zero interceptions in 5 games with average rating of 140. Hint #2: He's QB for a terrible team!
