I made this thread to extend my deepest thanks to Emotiva (Keith) for the wonderful support they have given me and probably others who benefitted from it.
I had a problem on the digital out of this source, which I have posted on the DC-1 thread a couple of times. This source is the Olive One. I have a long thread of email with this issue with Olive and have been patient enough to share information and try everything they have asked me to.
Alas, I was at a tipping point already with no solution in sight. I volunteered my DC-1 for them to use so they can figure out what is wrong. With that, Olive have asked me the contact for Emotiva, so they can reach directly to them. My contact then was Keith.
To cut the long story short, Emotiva sent an evaluation unit to Olive and Olive figured out the problem and the digital out is now working with the latest beta firmware. Hooray for that!
To Emotiva, thank you for lending and extending a hand. A lot of external DACs (Schiit,Metrum,Yulong,Meitner,Chord Hugo,iFi) are now working with the Olive One because of your action on the matter.
To Olive, my sincerest thanks to your support team for not letting us down on eliminating this issues.
To me, for my patience and love for this hobby hahaha
Incredible! So it was the olive one's fault? Props to Emotiva for stepping up and sending a unit in for evaluation. It's risky to do that if you're a company but they were open so they did so. Very well done! And good job @keithl!

Even with the problems I encountered, it is really a refreshing experience to be provided with a support like that. With companies like these, international customers like me won't hesitate to deal with them.
garbulky - yes the Olive One's at fault, and I am glad they have sorted it out and yes at first I was surprised that Emo agreed to send them an evaluation unit.
