I seriously may have lost my mind on this one. Just bought XPR-1 mono blocks and my new Legacy Focus SE speakers, brand new from factory, will be shipped to me in about 10 days. Without even trying this setup in my home I have the JBL M2 speakers and Crown amps combo on my mind. I'm going to listen to the M2's next week. Am I absolutely crazy for even considering making this move to the JBL M2's when my Legacy speakers haven't even arrived yet?  |

I've a similar setup but have the XPR5. You'll love the SE's with those amps!

  The Crown amps will quickly slip from your mind once you use the XPR-1s, and the bonus is that there absolutely gorgeous!! |

Those Legacy speakers with the XPR-1s pushing them is dream setup SeaNile. I would give it some time before I swapped anything out. Good luck with whatever you choose.  |

I agree with PK and novisnick. You're not going to be lusting after crown's after the XPR-1 XSP-1 combo.

You'd be going from extremely good audiophile equipment to good commercial equipment. The crown/JBL combo might sound better over 110db, but the XPR/Legacy will sound MUCH better everywhere else. I wouldn't consider the swap for a minute. The XPR/Legacy is incredible, really.

I second ocezam's statement. I wouldn't swap my SE/XPR/XMC setup.
Unless it's for the new the Legacy V's!!!!!!!

OK, thanks for the sanity check. This made me at least pause and give it a while listening to the SE and XPR setup. Anyone notice the Aeris on Audiogon??? I swear, I need to stay off the internet!

Love the Legacy speakers. I have heard them at the Rocky Mountain Audiofest a few times, and really love the detail, great image, and dynamics. The XPR-1 will only magnify the Legacy's abilities even more so. Fun huh?
