Thanks for the warm welcome. According to the UPS tracking I will receive an 80+lbs package by tomorrow afternoon! Considering the weight of the amp I now have some concern for my entertainment center rack which is metal with glass shelves. My crystal ball shows that I may need a larger rack...

I had my xpa-2 and my xpa-5 on glass shelves, along with other gear. Glass was not much deeper than the gear but was over 3' wide.
But lift with your knees!!!

Don't get a large rack.. If you do, you will keep spending till you fill it...

You've just described my rack my friend! my Avitar is my rack,,,,take a look. If you'd like a better look I can PM you if you like, hate to boar others. Those racks can hold some weight, just don't drop anything on them. Bottom shelf has my Yamaha 3020 and an Emotiva XPA-5 on it, neither is a lightweight!!

Haha, I plan on making a new rack and moving into room behind wall that TV is on, maybe cut hole in wall. I found the specs for my metal/glass rack and it is rated over 100 lbs on bottom shelf. I placed my Onkyo receiver on the top shelf and the Emotiva amp on bottom.
