As the subject suggests. How long are the usb cables people are running from the input on their DC-1 to their source? The reason i ask is I am wanting to run a long usb cable (maybe longer than 15 ft) to my laptop that is usually across the room. Has anyone had any experience running long cable from the usb? Thanks guys

Thanks guys I have a USB cable at least that long. No problems, it has a booster on it,or something that's not powered, and works just fine. I've used it from the purchase of my DC-1 . I think it's a Monoprice product .

Alright that would be great. The long cable I ordered(I think its 35 ft) has a booster in the middle of it. Will be great if it works according to plan.

At some point I'd think you're better off with S/PDIF (TOSLink or Coax).
